Laying Hens/Eggs

We buy spent laying hens from commercial pasture raised operations in large volumes at 18 months of age. The birds are still very active layers, at 80-90% egg laying ratio per day. Our birds are kept all growing season in the pasture, healing our weaker soils.

Laying Hens For Sale

Lohmann Brown and Hy-Line brown laying hens. Our main buying season is March- May where we start our flock and sell any amount of birds to other homeowners and producers. There is potential to buy birds year around if your interested in larger volumes. Inquire with us about pricing and availability.

The Coop

We had privileged to buy an 'egg mobile' from Ray Archuleta made for him by Gabe Brown. This 16' unit can house 150 birds. This unit has built in water, roosts, and laying boxes. We pull it through the pasture with our UTV.

Farm Fresh Eggs

Farm fresh eggs are sold right off the home farm for $5/dozen. Our kids love the chore of collecting eggs and feeding the chickens ever day. Seasonal availability from March thru November.
